FORCE MAJEURE
Basundari cannot accept liability or pay compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by reason of circumstances amounting to “force majeure”. Circumstances amounting to “force majeure” include any event which Basundari and facilitators could not, even with all due care, foresee or control such as (by way of example and not by way of limitation) acts of god, terrorist activities, insurrection, explosion, flood, tempest, forceful wind, fire or accident, war or threat of war declared or undeclared, sabotage, civil disturbance, labour strikes, requisition, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions, and unforeseen circumstances.

GROUP LEADER LIABILITY
Facilitators conducting retreats/workshops at Basundari agree to sign a statement acknowledging that they are fully responsible for any incidents that may arise during, and as a result of their event.
Participants are responsible for their own welfare using any of the meditation decks/baskets, hanging basket chairs, hammocks, pools or participating in any “Add-on activity” listed above.
They release Basundari from all liability whatsoever.
It is the facilitator’ responsibility to make sure that all participants have travel insurance.
All rooms have a safe and is recommended guests use them.

Basundari is not responsible for any loss, theft or injury.
We require that at least one group facilitator be on site with
your group. There are no residential staff living on the property. It is the responsibility of retreat facilitator to be present at all times for their attendees.
In the event of damage, loss or breakages on our property caused by facilitators or their participants during the stay/use of Basundari the group facilitator is fully liable. The primary person who has
rented the property assumes full responsibility for any compensation.
The organiser/facilitator is responsible for obtaining all visas and work permits related to activities in Indonesia and
at Basundari. We assume no involvement or liability in
this process.
