I came to Basundari to disconnect from a hectic every day city life and I must say my stay has exceeded all my expectations. The yoga deck is surrounded by beautiful scenery and sounds of nature. Don’t be lazy to get up in the morning! The room was absolutely beautiful and so natural with all the wood elements in it, a swing where I enjoyed reading my book and the view to the fields where I could see the cows and chickens, it was just priceless. Having looked at a number or different options I can say Basundari offers the best value for money in Ubud for the kind of experience it provides. I would definitely return and will recommend this place to friends. Thank you for a great experience to the whole team at Basundari!

Location is excellent (10mins out of centre of Ubud) - who doesn’t want to experience the jungle and rice fields. Accommodation and facilities were as per the photographs - truly value for money in this hidden Oasis. Breakfast very healthy and yummy and delivered to the room - bonus. So peaceful and awesome view to wake up to every morning (we had a room with a balcony looking onto the rice fields) - we even had fire flies dancing outside our room one evening. We had a local driver from the village who pretty much was on call for us whenever we needed - would encourage people to use locals for services.

The best Hotel I have experienced in Bali so far ! Really love the place and the atmosphere. The hotel is build into the environment, facing the jungle and in the middle of the Ricefields. It’s a lovely and quiet place with only nature sounds around + a view from your room on rice terraces or jungle. The honor and the staff are just so nice. They are here to help you feel like home and to give you all the information you need. The room, the decorations, breakfast serve in room… everything is perfect ! I highly recommend this place without hesitation. It’s also close to Ubud center, 5 min motorbike. Alex And Audrey from France.
